Why Use Their Real names?
Lies, Both From insiders and Outsiders.
Both the Tenach and the Bible show how evil men and government can change names, and history, for example: “You keep saying, “We have the teachings of Yahweh’s. So, we are wise!” But this is not true, because the scribes have lied with their pens.”- Yirmiyah (Jeremiah) 8:8. Here you find the prophet Yirmiyah criticizing the scribes of lying and corruption of Yahweh’s instructions and teachings to serve their purpose. In the book of Daniyyah (Daniel) 1:3-7, The King of Babylon demonstrated how ruling powers could change, influence, or impact history or anything historic: “Then the king ordered him to teach them the literature and language of the Chaldeans. 5 The king appointed for them a daily ration from the king’s choice food and from the wine which he drank and appointed that they should be educated three years, at the end of which they were to enter the king’s personal service. 6 Now among them from the sons of Judah were Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. 7 Then the commander of the officials assigned new names to them; and to Daniel he assigned the name Belteshazzar, to Hananiah Shadrach, to Mishael Meshach and to Azariah Abed-nego.”- Daniyyah 1:3-7. The instructions and teachings of Yahweh; the names, history, and teachings that are in it, have been subject to the same treatment by the hands of evil people and ruling powers. And they have succeeded for the most part. As believers, we have to be diligent and acknowledge that the powers at be and translators have agendas, and are bias, when we read and study the Bible. Only the ignorant believe that the Bible has been has not been tampered with. But if we search for truth, we will find it, as Yahshua promised. His sheep knows his voice.

Indoctrination And The One World Religion System
This is classic example of indoctrinating, but the Babylonians didn’t succeed on changing them, just their names. As for the others, they displayed their level of commitment when the king of Babylon erected a statue of himself and decreed that all people shall bow down, or else be tossed into the furnace. The other captives weren’t listed as those that refused to bow down. Like fake Christians, they were loyal to Yahweh when it was convenient for them and conformed when it was not. The dictionary defines indoctrinate as: teaching (a person or group) to accept a set of beliefs uncritically. It is the concept that the human mind can be altered or controlled by certain psychological techniques. By reducing its subject’s ability to think critically or independently, to allow the introduction of new, unwanted thoughts and ideas into the subject’s mind. As well as to change his or her attitudes, values, and beliefs. Most of Christianity has conformed and continues to hand down lies to the next generation. Unaware that they are participating in the “mystery religion: “the Whore of Babylon or Babylon the Great. Not them they will say, but using the same teachings, names and system invented by the very church that murder the early Christians: The Roman Catholic Church. Yahweh is speaking to Christians not nonbelievers, when he demands: …“Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues; 5 for her sins are piled up to heaven, and Yahweh has remembered her crimes.” – (Revelation 18)
A lot of people today believe that Babylon is Islam. Some people believe that Babylon is a literal city like New York or Las Vegas. Some believe it is a country like the United State of America or some country in the middle east. A lot of Christians believe it is a thing in the future. But it is none of those things, although those things may share a connection or have some part to do with the Whore of Babylon, or Babylon the Great, but they are not. The whore of Babylon is an evil world system with religious connotations – spiritual adultery, controlled by Satan, during the last days before Yahshua returns. Through history, it can be traced back to the Tower of Babble and their one religion system, as other countries and religions are shaped, influenced, and originate from. The main characters transcend religion, but their identities are masked with the current or modern name. The Mask of Tummuz is a perfect example. And their stories are similar or the same. Changing the names of Yahweh and Yahshua is their doing, with the help of counterfeit Jews, either voluntary or nonvoluntary. Most Jews reject that Yahshua came to Earth already, and that he died and rose from the dead. They are still waiting for his first coming. Their religious authority: Judaism, the Masoretes, Pharisees, Sadducees, and other people or groups that lord over them; disagree with what and who Yahshua stands for. They didn’t, and still don’t, like that he came in his father’s name, that Yahshua fulfilled the law, and that he made a new covenant; that removes man-made religiosity from the arrangement. People should expect tampering or hidden evidence.
Religion throughout the ages has taken many forms. Nearly every race or culture had its own system of beliefs and its own god or gods. The Egyptians worshipped everything from dogs and cats to the moon and sun. For every god or goddess, they had a name. Ra was their Sun god, The Greeks and Romans worshipped a plethora of gods and demigods. Zeus was the chief god. In every case these gods all had names. So why do Christians have such a generic name: god or lord? The truth is that god, lord, and Christ, aren’t names, they are titles. In the Oxford American Dictionary, the word god is a common noun. It has only been used as a proper noun when used in context with Christian and Jewish teaching. Dog is a noun as well, but even most dogs have a name. A dog is what the creature is, just as god is a "superhuman being regarded and worshipped as having power over nature and human affairs" (definition No. 2); or "a person or thing that is greatly admired or adored" (definition No. 3). This obviously means that to some, even money can be a god. The definition of lord is "a master or ruler or sovereign; a nobleman; the title or form of address to certain high officials in Britain. So what is the Creator's name? The Savior's name? And are the names important?

The Names Are Important!
According to Scripture, the names are extremely important. "Neither is their salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12, KJV, 1941). There is no mystery to the true name of the Creator. The name, Yahweh, has been known since it was given to Moses some 4,000 years ago. The true name of the Father is Yahweh, the Word or Son Yahshua the Messiah. In the Holy Name Bible, translated in the 1930s by A.B. Traina, (an Italian Jew who discovered the mistakes in the English translations of the Bible), the proper names are returned to the biblical text. “And thy Elohim descended in the cloud and stood with him there and proclaimed the name of Yahweh." Holy Name Bible (HNB) Isaiah 42:8 states: "I am Yahweh; that is my name..." HNB. There is abundant evidence that YHWH, or Yahweh, is the true name. One of the oldest Scriptural texts ever found contained the name Yahweh. A silver amulet dating back about 2,600 years (600 years before the birth of the Messiah) contains a seventh century extract from the Book of Numbers (6:24-26). It was part of a treasure found by a Tel Aviv University archaeologist in a First Temple Period family tomb in Jerusalem. When this amulet was written the Temple of Solomon still stood, the heirs of King David ruled and the Dead Sea Scrolls would not even be written for another 400 years. After three years of technological care the amulet was unrolled at the Israel Museum. The name of Yahweh was clearly read. At least until the destruction of the First Temple in 586 B.C., Yahweh’s name was pronounced regularly with its proper vowels, as is clear from the Lachish Letters, written shortly before that day. However, at least by the third century B.C., the pronunciation of the name Yahweh was avoided and the word Adonai (which means lord) was substituted."
It is thought that after the return from the Captivity and before the beginning of the Christian Era, the Jews came to believe that the holy name "Yahweh" was too sacred to be uttered on ordinary occasions. It was said to be pronounced by the high priest on the Day of Atonement. But at other times when it was read, the word "Adonai" was substituted and that is where we get the word "lord" today. In Hebrew translation, Exodus 20:7 reads: "Thou shall not substitute the name of Yahweh thy El (Elohim), for Yahweh will not hold them guiltless who will substitute his name." Translators and scribes may very well have either purposely or inadvertently left in the references to that which they knew were the true name and title. These can be found in various places, Psalms 68:4 is one such reference. "Sing unto God, sing praises to his name; extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name Jah, and rejoice before him." KJV In the New Testament the Messiah said, "I am come in my Father’s name..." Many people have concluded that the name Jesus must come in some way from the word Jehovah. However, there is no connection. And to take that point further the names Jah, Jehovah and Jesus could not have and did not exist prior to the year 1350 AD. The letter J is really only about 400 years old and it is an English letter. That letter as well as the sound it makes did not and still does not exist in the Greek or Hebrew languages.
The word Yahshua is two words: Yah Shua. In Hebrew the word "shua" means salvation. Yah, a contracted form of Yahweh, make up the other half. Therefore, Yahshua means "Yahweh is salvation." That explain the name “Yah shua. If Jesus was translated right from its real source, the Hebrew language, it should be a combination of at least two words. When you break down the name Jesus, you get IE which is latin and just an abbreviation or the Greek word Ge. The second part would be“sus” in Latin or “sous/sus/us” in Greek. The Greek root word ge and English prefix geo- mean “earth.” Several words in English contain this Greek root. The only IE in latin is, “I.e.” the abbreviation for “id est” and means: “in other words.” Sus in latin mean pig or swine. The Greeks had a similar naming convention as did the Hebrews. Where the Hebrews used “YAH” in the construction of their names giving esteem to Yahweh, the Greeks ended names and cities using “sous/sus/us” after their own god Zeus. Take for example the name of Julius Caesar “Gaius Julius” or the name of the Roman Emperor Constantine who literally created Christianity “Flavius Valerius Aurelius Constantinus Augustus”. Whether the church of Rome or Greeks did that on purpose or not, the Name Jesus is manufacture by evil and is not supported by Yahweh and his word. As stated in Acts 4:12, the name Yahshua, is the only name by which one can find salvation. The Century Bible, 1901, states that just as Yahweh has been substituted with god and lord or Adonai, so too has Yahshua, the name of Yahweh’s Son. "Likewise, the name of Yahweh’s Son, Yahshua: (Yahweh is Salvation), has been substituted by Yeshua, Iesous, Iesus, and Jesus.

Translation Error
So where did Jehovah, Jah and Jesus come from? Erroneous English translations and words stolen from other languages. There was never a reference to Jesus or Jehovah or Jah in the Hebrew nor the Greek language. The masorites. The Jewish scholars of the Great Synagogue in closing the canon of the Old Testament Text, which is known as the Masoreti the Messianic teachings. Christian theologians have translated the Scriptures from a nonIsraelite approach to both the Old and New Testaments, thus losing sight of what the Great Apostle said in the ninth chapter of Romans, verses 1 through 11 and 22 through 29, that the Scriptures were written for Israel, and to them the oracles of YHWH were committed. Israel, in turn, was to transmit the message to other nations that they also might obtain the same promises through faith (Genesis 9:27, Isaiah 56:67, and Ephesians 3:56). Hebrew translation have tried to translate the Bible in what they call a literal translation, but the Hebrew language cannot be literally translated into a classical language. Hebrew is an idiomatic language, and one Hebrew word may have from three to ten different meanings depending on the context. Sometimes it has opposing meanings. In the Bible whole thoughts, not words, must therefore be translated. the set apart names.
Pagan Deities
Another common practice among most of the translators is their elimination of heaven's revealed Name of the Most High, Yahweh (YHWH), and the Name of his Son, Yahshua the Messiah, and substituting the names of the local deities of the nations among whom they dwelt (Psalms 96:5), expressly transgressing the commandments of Yahweh (YHWH) as given in Exodus 20:7 and 23:13. For Yahweh (YHWH) they have substituted Baal, the Babylonian deity, and Adonay, the Canaanite deity of the Phoenicians, both corresponding to the English word Lord. The characteristic appellation of the Most High, Elohim, has been substituted by the Assyrian deity Gawd, or God in English, and is rejected by Yahweh in Isaiah 65:11 which reads as follows, "But ye are they that forsake Yahweh, that forget My setapart mountain, and furnish a table for God, and furnish a drink offering to Meni". Which explains the people of Scotland and some parts of northern England celebrating their Hogmanay, which in Hebrew means the feast of the god Meni, on New Year's Eve with a fellowship drink for good luck.
The substitution of the Names of Yahweh (YHWH) and Yahshua by the names of the pagan deities of the nations have mislead many and has the potential to cause a great falling away, since people will lose trust in their religious leaders. Such names as Lord, God, Jesus, and Christ in no way represent the meaning of the true name revealed by the Most High to Moses and the ancient Hebrew leaders. By employing these names the people unknowingly turn the worship of Yahweh into that of idols and actually ascribe the benevolent characteristics of the Mighty One of Israel to the pagan deities (Hosea 2:8). "If Yahweh be Elohim, follow Him; And if Baal (the Lord) then follow Him." 1Kings 18:21 (Hebrew: Baal = Lord). "How long shall it be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? Yea they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart, which think to cause My people to forget My Name as their fathers have forgotten My Name for Baal." Jeremiah 23:2627. "I will take the names of the Baalim (Lords) out of her mouth and they shall no more be remembered by their name." Hosea 2:17 (Baalim is the plural for Baal = Lords). "I will declare Thy Name unto my brethren, in the midst of the congregation will I sing praise unto Thee." Hebrews 2:12 and Psalm 23:22. "And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of Yahweh shall be saved." Acts 2:21 and Joel 2:32. "And they that know thy name will put their trust in Thee." Psalm 9:10
The combined result of the four reasons mentioned in the foregoing has brought into the New Testament many pagan elements of varying degrees, so that the original prophetic and apostolic teachings on the Holy Scriptures have reverted to the apostate Baalism of Jezebel (Revelation 2:20). No wonder then the Scriptures call this system Babylon. Misleading ideas and beliefs were implanted during the process of carrying the Hebrew ideas and ideals into the context of a pagan Greek and Roman world. The Hellenizing of the original books of the Bible brought about distortions which still plague earnest Scripture students. An illustration of this occurs in the use of the Greek word hades (with all its mythological connotations as a place of endless torture to which the Greek gods relegated those who displeased them), as a purported equivalent of the Hebrew sheol and gehenna, neither of which conveyed any such notion. The doctrine that the Messiah "descended into hell" was thus an outgrowth of adopting the Greek context of hades in place of the Hebrew connotation of sheol (the tomb). Many of the errors of literal translation which crept into the New Testament after the first century have been kept alive and intact because of the belief by numerous excellent scholars that the New Testament originals were written in, nay inspired in, the Greek language. Such a state of mind made it seem sacrilegious to question the authenticity of the Greek text even though portions of it seemed unintelligible. The process of substitution continued in various lands and languages, so that much of the original meaning of the New Testament has been obscured. Consider the distortion involved in changing the names of the prophets, the Messiah, and the Creator. Hosea became "Osee"; Elisha became "Eliseus"; Isaiah became "Esaias"; Miriam became "Mary"; Yahshua became "Jesus" and Yahweh became "Lord", "God", "Gott", "dios", "Manitou" or whatever happened to be the name of the local idol.
Under One deity
Those words were and will never be the real name of Yahweh the ever-existing Creator, and his son Yahshua our Savior (the promise deliverer), the Mashiach of Yahweh. If Christian scholars would conduct an unbiased study of the Scriptures, they will find the truth and who is responsible for distorting it. Names were and are very important to the Hebrew people, and their meanings are significance, not only to individuals, but also to entire families. The Prophet Yeremyah warned that this practice of removing Yahweh’s Name would be handed down to us from the unfaithful priests, interpreters and scribes, when the Hebrew Scriptures were first translated to Greek, then to Latin, and finally to English. How can you say; We are the wise, and the Law of Yahweh is with us? Behold, the lying pen of the scribes has falsified them, and written them wrong! - Yeremyah 8:8. This is only further evidence of the literary license which the established Christian religions, led by the Catholic Church. Up until the First Council of Nicaea, the Roman aristocracy primarily worshipped two Greek gods_Apollo and Zeus_but the great bulk of common people idolised either Julius Caesar or Mithras (The Romanised version of the Persian deity Mithra). Caesar was deified by the Roman Senate after his death (15 March 44 bc) and subsequently venerated as “the Divine Julius”. The word “Saviour” was affixed to his name, its literal meaning being “one who sows the seed”, i.e., he was a phallic god. Julius Caesar was hailed as “God made manifest and universal Saviour of human life”, and his successor Augustus was called the “ancestral God and Saviour of the whole human race” (Man and his Gods, Homer Smith, Little, Brown & Co., Boston, 1952). Emperor Nero (54-68), whose original name was Lucius Domitius Ahenobarbus (37-68), was immortalised on his coins as the “Saviour of mankind” (ibid.). The Divine Julius as Roman Saviour and “Father of the Empire” was considered “God” among the Roman rabble for more than 300 years. He was the deity in some Western presbyters’ texts, but was not recognised in Eastern or Oriental writings.
Constantine’s intention at Nicaea was to create an entirely new god for his empire who would unite all religious factions under one deity. Presbyters were asked to debate and decide who their new god would be. Delegates argued among themselves, expressing personal motive for inclusion of particular writings that promoted the finer traits of their own special deity. Throughout the meeting, howling factions were immersed in heated debates, and the names of 53 gods were tabled for discussion. “As yet, no God had been selected by the council, and so they balloted in order to determine that matter… For one year and five months the balloting lasted…” (God’s Book of Eskra, Prof. S.L. MacGuire’s translation, Salisbury, 1922, chapter xlviii, paragraphs 36, 41). At the end of that time, Constantine returned to the gathering to discover that the presbyters had not agreed on a new deity but had balloted down to a short list of five prospects: Caesar, Krishna, Mithra, Horus and Zeus (Historia Ecclesiastica, Eusebius, c. 325). Constantine was the ruling spirit at Nicaea and he ultimately decided upon a new god for them. To involve British factions, he ruled that the name of the Druid god, Hesus, be joined with the Eastern Saviour-god, Krishna (Krishna is Sanskrit for Christ), and thus Hesus Krishna would be the official name of the new Roman god. A vote was taken and it was with a majority show of hands (161 votes to 157) that both divinities become one God. Following long-standing heathen custom, Constantine used the official gathering and the Roman apotheosis decree to legally deify two deities as one, and did so by democratic consent. A new god was proclaimed and “officially” ratified by Constantine (Acta Concilii Nicaeni, 1618). That purely political act of deification effectively and legally placed Hesus and Krishna among the Roman gods as one individual composite.

If the Christians could turn the Name of a man, Yahshua, Who all authorities agree was a righteous Man, and Whose Name glorifies Yahweh, into the name of a detestable pagan god (Jesus), then how much more could they twist this Yahshua’s teachings. The shocking fact is that the Christians (led by the Catholic Church) have accomplished both of these things, and have convinced the whole world (including the vast majority of Israylites) that these lies are truth. With its spread among the gentiles, the pagan characteristics of Christianity gained in influence, and after Constantine the Great and the adoption of Christianity as the official religion of the Roman Empire, the traditional Hellenistic-pagan forms of civic, social, and cultural anti-Semitism (see *Apion) merged with the specifically Christian theological motifs to form an amalgam that has left a tragic legacy to history.
Superstition, Ignorance, Evil Intentions.
Superstition, ignorance, evil intentions and the dynamics of language led to a change in the Savior’s Name, to a name He never had! The Bible shows that whenever people were spoken to from On High, it was always to those who were familiar with or spoke the Hebrew language. Hebrew no doubt was spoken in the Garden of Eden. The Bible is a Hebrew book, given to spirit-filled Hebrew writers. The only language spoken for the first 1757 years until the Tower of Babel incident was Hebrew. We must conclude, therefore, that Hebrew is the heavenly language. Genesis 10:30 reveals that the tribes of Shem did not join the project at the plains of Shinar (Genesis 11:2) where the tower of Babel was built. According to Genesis 10, they dwelled at Mesha, in the foothills of Mount Sephar. Their Hebrew language was not changed."The times of this ignorance Yahweh winked at, but now commands all men everywhere to repent," Acts 17:30. He reveals His truth to those who willingly seek and follow it. Most of us At Real Hope have used the names God, Lord, and Jesus for years. We all started using our father’s and Savior’s name at different points of life as we discovered, then search for our selves, and then we made the decision for ourselves. When Ha Mashiach returns all of the conflict over spelling, meanings and ways of life we live will be corrected when Yahshua returns. We do not condemn or degrade those who use either the name: God and Jesus.
We have sufficient proof showing that the Name of Yahweh has been completely erased from the Holy Scriptures, and from common knowledge and use altogether, because of the man-made traditions of our forefathers and rabbis. The Century Bible, Volume 1, pages 90-91, tells us the following: Some time after the return from the Captivity, and before the beginning of the Christian Era, the Yahdaim (Jews) came to believe that the Holy Name Yahweh was too sacred to be uttered on ordinary occasions. It was said to be pronounced by the High Priest on the Day of Atonement. At other times, when any one read or quoted aloud from what is called the Old Testament, the word “Adonay”, “Lord,” was usually substituted for Yahweh, and similarly the LXX (Septuagint Version) has Kurios, the Vulgate dominus, and the e.v. lord, where the Hebrew has Yahweh. Hebrew was originally written without vowels, but when the “vowel points” were added, the vowels of “Adonay” or “Elohim” were written with Yahweh, as a direction that these words were to be read instead of the word whose consonants were Yahweh; thus we find the combinations Yehowah and Yehowih. At the Reformation, the former being the more usual, was sometimes used as the name of the (Mighty One) of Israel, and owing to ignorance of its history was misread as “Jehovah,” a form which has established itself in English, but does not give the pronunciation of the Holy Name it represents.
The Prophet Yeremyah warned that this practice of removing Yahweh’s Name would be handed down to us from the unfaithful priests, interpreters and scribes, when the Hebrew Scriptures were first translated to Greek, then to Latin, and finally to English. “"'How can you say, "We are wise, for we have the law of the Yahweh," when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?” - Jeremiah 8:8. “ O Lord, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.” - Jeremiah 16:19. The next version of the Bible, after the Greek Septuagint (LXX), was the Vulgate—attributed to Jerome. In the year 383 C.E., Jerome began to work on this Latin Version. He undertook the revision of the Old Testament directly from the Septuagint Version. In the Septuagint, the name of Yahweh was replaced with the Greek word, Kyrios – Lord. In the Latin Vulgate, Jerome directly translated the Greek word Kyrios – Lord to the Latin word for Lord – Dominus. In the Latin Vulgate, Jerome transliterated the Greek word to the Latin, Iesus. The early Versions directly translated the Latin word Dominus to the modern English word we all know today as Lord, which is still causing the world to forget Yahweh’s Name for Baal (Yeremyah 23:27).
Yahweh is the name of the Heavenly Father. His name, which He says is "My memorial to all generations," (Exodus 3:15) carries the meaning of "He is," or "He causes to be." Because of tradition, the precious name of the Heavenly Father has been removed from His own book. Yahweh placed His name in the scriptures nearly 7,000 times. And 7,000 times bible translators substituted it with a generic title such as "LORD" or "GOD." In fact, "Yahweh" is the 7th most commonly used word in the Hebrew scriptures. How did the sacred name get changed in our Bibles? The concealing of the four letters of the Tetragrammaton (YHWH) representing the name of the Father first began with the Israelite priests. It was carried further by the ignorance of the early Christian translators. The superstitious Jewish scribes, aware of Leviticus 24:16 and other verses that demanded reverence for Yahweh's name, decided the best way to keep from blaspheming His Name would be to invoke substitute titles instead of calling on the proper Name of Yahweh. In their way of thinking, prohibiting the utterance of the sacred Name would eliminate the potential of blaspheming it. To forestall anyone's reading the Tetragrammaton and vocalizing the name Yahweh, the scribes had placed diacritical marks of the vowels for Adonai over the Hebrew letters for His Name. In fact, the first vowel carried the sound of "e" as in met so the reader would read Yeh, and not blurt out even the short or poetic form, Yah. Theirs was a misguided zeal. The early Christian translators were poor Hebrew scholars. In fact, most were ignorant of Hebrew, knowing only Greek and Latin. Having the attitude of "not wanting anything to do with those detestable Jews," they refused even to learn Hebrew and were thus unable to read the Old Testament in the original language. The main source of their information came from the Greek Septuagint translation of the Old Testament and not from original Hebrew texts. The Greek has three declensions of nouns, three genders and five cases. The noun suffix (ending) indicates its use in the sentence, which also is true of most European languages. For example, in Greek the masculine, nominative singular of our Savior's name ends in "s." This explains why we also have so many proper nouns in the King James Bible whose Hebrew has been changed to end in the Greek form "s," such as Judas, Elias, Jonas, Esaias, Zacharias, Jermias, Annas, and Silas. These names were lifted directly out of the Greek Septuagint with no consideration that they were Hebrew names (often having the ending "Yah,"). As stated, neither Hebrew nor Greek has a letter "j." Both the Latin and the English letter "i" (with a sound as in police) is regarded as an equivalent to the Hebrew "yothe" (also "yod"). Never should the Savior's Name begin with the sound of "j" as in "jeers" but should begin with the vowel sound "ee."
Writing Yahweh's name in the Hebrew texts, Jewish Scribes (hundreds of years earlier) inserted a shewa ( : ) instead of the qamets ( a ), changing the vowel sound "ah" to "eh" to forestall blurting out the short form "Yah" of the sacred name. This practice is still found in the erroneous "Jehovah." (While using “Jehovah” might be considered better than using a substitute title in place of the name of Yahweh, it is still an incorrect transliteration). The Greek has no "h" in its alphabet, only a rough breathing mark at a word's beginning that appears as a reverse apostrophe. No "h" appears in Greek of the poetic form "Yah." In fact from the above, we can see the first part of the Tetragrammaton in Greek would be written" Ie" (with no "h" as they had none) to be consistent with the Jew's rule of "Yeh" to avoid vocalizing the "Yah" sound. Nor did the Jews want in any way to associate Yahweh's name with that of the Savior's, which might be seen as acknowledging His position as the very Son of Yahweh Who came in his father's name. "The term tetragrammaton (from Greek τετραγράμματον, meaning "four letters") refers to the Hebrew theonym (Hebrew: יהוה)transliterated to the Latin letters YHWH. It is derived from a verb that means "to be" and is considered in Judaism to be a proper name of the Yahweh of Israel as indicated in the Hebrew Bible.
As Jews are forbidden to say or write the Tetragrammaton in full, when reading the Torah, they use the term Adonai. Christians do not have any prohibitions on vocalizing the Tetragrammaton; in most Christian translations of the Bible, "LORD" is used in place of the Tetragrammaton after the Hebrew Adonai and is written with small capitals (or in all caps) to distinguish it from other words translated "Lord". The original consonantal text of the Hebrew Bible was provided with vowel marks by the Masoretes to assist reading. In places where the consonants of the text to be read (the Qere) differed from the consonants of the written text (the Kethib), they wrote the Qere in the margin as a note showing what was to be read. In such a case the vowels of the Qere were written on the Kethib. For a few frequent words the marginal note was omitted: this is called Q're perpetuum. One of these frequent cases was the tetragrammaton, which according to later Jewish practices should not be pronounced, but read as "Adonai" ("My Lord"), or, if the previous or next word already was "Adonai" or "Adoni", as "Elohim" ("God"). This combination produces יְהֹוָה and יֱהֹוִה respectively, non-words that would spell "yehovah" and "yehovih" respectively.
The consensus of mainstream scholarship is that "Yehowah" (or in Latin transcription "Jehovah") is a pseudo-Hebrew form which was mistakenly created when Medieval and/or Renaissance Christian scholars misunderstood this common qere perpetuum; the usual Jewish practice at the time of the Masoretes was to pronounce it as "Adonai," as is still the Jewish custom today." Here is a overview from a Hebrew scholar on vowel points: The name of YHWH or Yahweh is written the same as the first two Hebrew letters of the name Yahshua or Yahoshua. In other words the "Yod/yothe" and the "Heh" are the first two letters of both names (the third letter as well being a "waw" or for some modern scholars a "vav". From H3068 and H3091 they are easily viewed in the Hebrew language. Remember that Strong's Concordance uses the vowel points for Adonai to render the name "Jehovah" instead of the more proper "Yahweh." The set apart name of the Creator, Yahweh or its short form, Yah, is the one and only name by which He is known in the entire Scriptures.
Whether Or Not, They Accept Yahshua, The Name Jesus Is False.
In the Septuagint, the equivalent Greek letter for Yahshua began with a capital I (or iota), and in the Latin was properly translated with a capital I. Later this became the letter "j" in Latin and was used for a capital "I" in early English, known as the "cursive J." Following the example in the Septuagint, Christian scholars did attempt to transliterate (bring across the sound of) the Savior's Name as it was written in the Greek. Thus, we have the Savior's Name beginning with "JE" when it should be "YAH" as in "halleluYAH." We don't say "halleluYEH." Using the Greek capital "I" (iota), the Greek translators did not insert the vowel letter "a" (alpha) but had ignorantly accepted the Hebrew diacritical vowel points and used the letter "e" (eta). Thus they began the Savior's name as "Ie." The Greek language has no "sh" sound, so only the "s" (sigma= s) appears. Thus far, we have the first three letters of the Savior's name, "IES." In the Greek this is followed by "o" (o= omicron), the sound being short, as in lot. This is followed by the "u"(upsilon = u), sounded as "oo." The transliteration in Greek, then, is something like “Ee-ess-oo-uh.” Say it rapidly and we get a fairly close rendition, “Yesuah,” remembering no “sh” sound was available. In Greek the Savior's name appears as “IESOUS" (with the suffix “s” for the Greek ending). The Latin translation was then made primarily from the Greek text, bypassing the original Hebrew.
Jehoshua/Joshua. As we know that the "Je" is incorrect as in "Jehovah" because the translators were using the vowel points for Adonai which appear above and below some Hebrew letters as a form of pronunciation pointers. These vowel points (in this case) were meant to remind readers of the text to not say the sacred name of YHWH and use the title Adonai instead. It was believed by pious Jews that the sacred name of Yahweh was not to be pronounced outside of the Temple or Synagogue. A good encyclopedia, dictionary or other reference book containing the etymology of the letter "J" shows this letter did not even exist until the mid-1300s and was not universally used in English script until 1650. In fact, the letter "J" is the latest addition to the English alphabet and was inserted into the alphabet after "I" from whence it was created. The first printing of the King James version of the Bible in 1611 uses the words Iesus. The "J" was merely a decorative script form of the letter "I." It had no definitive sound or meaning other than "I" when it was first devised. It was merely a "device" to enhance the letter "I." If one looks up the word "device" in the dictionary you will find that one of the definitions is "a trick." This is exactly what the use of the letter "J" does to all of Christianity today. It tricks them.
Whether or not one wants to accept the name "Yahshua," it is fact that the "J" did not exist until nearly 1,400 years after the death of the Messiah. Therefore, the logical conclusion is that his name was not and could not have been Jesus. It is also clear that the reference to "Jah" would have been "Yah" in a Hebrew or Greek translation. Even though they recognize that the correct name of the Creator is Yahweh, they do not even attempt to explore the possibility that Jesus may be an erroneous name. Under the entry of Jesus Christ, The Catholic Encyclopedia gives a discourse on the origins of the name Jesus. They readily admit that this word is taken from the Greek word Iesous. Their etymological investigation ends at that point, however. Further investigation of the origins of the word Jesus show that the Greek word Iesous comes from an earlier word, Ea-Zeus, which means "healing god." It isn’t hard to discern that, while they didn’t want to recognize him as the Messiah, the Greeks and Romans could not refute the powers of the Messiah and therefore gave him the status due a god by referring to him as a "healing god." He was therefore called "Ea-Zeus." That was a title, however, given by the Greeks, rather than his given name. He came in his Father’s name Yah(shua). They classified him as merely one of many "healing gods."
It is understandable that the men of that time who did not recognize the Messiah, yet had to give credence to his powers, would then assume he was one of Zeus’ gods and give him a name that characterized him as such, Ea-Zeus. That makes the name Ea-Zeus, Ieusous and finally Jesus, the form that turned up in the 1400s, an idolatrous and generic name.
Yahshua predicted that he would not be recognized as the Messiah. But he also told the masses that he had come in his Father’s name. If we still want to hold on to the name Jesus, then it must also follow that even today, we don’t believe he was the Messiah. "I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive." (John 5:43) KJV. Because Jesus’ father would then have been Zeus (I come in my father’s name {Ea-Zeus}). But because we know that the true name of the Creator is Yahweh and because it is believed that the Messiah is the Son, it follows that the true name of the Son is Yahshua, who did indeed come in his Father’s name. And was indeed sent to be our salvation. The name of the Messiah, Yahshua, is the name by which He was known to His disciples, though he has several titles such as Rabbi, Son of Man, Saviour, Anointed, and King of Kings.
The name Jesus is an invention of man which in no way carries the meaning of the true Name of this Man mentioned in the New Testament. The simple fact that this man was born a Hebrew and He had a Hebrew name. There is no such name as Jesus in the Hebrew language. The name Yahshua is just such a compound Name. It is a combination of Yahweh’s Name in a personal name (YAH: yod-heh) and SHUA (shin-ayin), which means salvation. The Hebrew-English Lexicon of the Old Testament, by Brown, Driver, and Briggs, page 221, tells us that the Name Yahshua means Yahweh is salvation. This source also points out to us that this Name, correctly pronounced Yahshua, is a compound name constructed with the Tetragrammaton, which is the name: Yahweh, The name Yahshua follows the common practice among the true worshippers of Yahweh, in forming and using compound names which brought glory to Yahweh’s Name.

The Hebraic Tongue Restored, by Fabre d’Olivet, page 462, gives us this information concerning the Hebrew word, shua. We find that this word comes from the word yasha.

Thus we have (yod-heh-waw-shin-ayin). This name is correctly pronounced YAH-SHU-A, since the letter waw in this compound is silent, just as The Hebraic Tongue Restored, by Fabre d’Olivet, pages 112-113. In English the name Jesus is a transliteration of the Latin form Iesus, which represents the Greek form of the Hebrew name ye-šûa`. The latter is a late form, by vowel dissimilation, of the name yôšûa`, itself a contracted form of yhôšûa`, “Yahweh is salvation.” This was the name of Moses’ successor. *Josue (Joshua), son of Nun. Both because of the fame of this early hero of Israel and because of the meaning of the name, many men both in the OT and in the NT bore the name of Josue or Jesus. The Septuigint generally uses the Greek form where the Hebrew text has the form yôšûa` or y’hôšûa`. So also the NT, in referring to Josue, son of Nun, calls him Jesus (Acts 7:45; Heb 4:8). An allusion is made in Mt. 1:21 to the meaning of the name (“Yahweh is salvation“): Joseph is told by the angel of the Lord to name the child born of Mary’s virginal conception “Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins.”
Rather than this name being correctly written and spoken YAHSHUA (containing Yahweh’s name), its new form was Yeshua, meaning He will save. Not only was Yahweh’s Name removed from the correct Name, Yahshua written in its new form, Yeshua, but Yahweh’s power was removed from it as well. The form Yeshua or Jesus was a deliberate change from the original Name Yahshua, as the same pages of this same source shows: This new name (Yeshua) was being used as the replacement for Yahshua’s true Name, by the time the Septuagint (LXX) was beginning to be translated. The Greek word written in this version to replace the name that had replaced Yahshua’s Name, is – a direct transliteration of the Hebrew word Yeshua. In early versions, the Greek word Ie-sous was shortened to the Latin Iesus. There was not even a “J” sound in the English language until that century. We must remember also, the fact that there is no “J” in the Hebrew language. Even the modern English “J” was not in use until the sixteenth century of our own Common Era. The name Jesus is not even a transliteration. It is a corruption of a transliteration of a Hebrew word which had the mighty and powerful Name of Yahweh removed from its original meaning.
Thus we have (yod-heh-waw-shin-ayin). This name is correctly pronounced YAH-SHU-A, since the letter waw in this compound is silent, just as The Hebraic Tongue Restored, by Fabre d’Olivet, pages 112-113, tells us.
The savior was born in Bethlehem of Judea of a Jewish virgin who spoke Hebrew (or perhaps Aramaic), a Semitic dialect. He was born into a society where Hebrew was the common language. The angel Gabriel had announced to Miriam (Mary) the mother that the Child about to be born would save His people Israel from their sins. His Name, therefore, would literally reflect this meaning and mission. Why would a Jewish maiden, whose native tongue was Hebrew, living in a Jewish community of Hebrews, who had been addressed by the celestial messenger Gabriel, give her newborn a hybrid Latin-Greek name that carries no such meaning as Savior in either language? The Greek word for savior is "soter," while the Latin is "salvare." No part of this word is found in "Jesus," a name with no etymological meaning. Recall that the angel said His Name would be related to His purpose as Savior. The Savior clearly avowed, "I am come in my Father's Name," John 5:43. This passage means that He carried His Father's Name. Its meaning is not limited solely to His coming by authority or command of the Heavenly Father. Just as today the family name is passed on from father to son, we would expect Yahshua to bear the name of the Heavenly Father and come with his authority. In the Middle East a name carries far more significance and encompasses deeper implications than names in today's Western society.
The Savior went on to say that although the people did not receive Him, if another would come in his own name, him they would receive. He added that Moses had written of Him, likely a reference to Exodus 15:2, "Yah...has become my salvation," [Hebrew =shua, i.e., Yah-shua]. (See also Deut. 18:15-19.) As already stated, the Savior's Name essentially is the same as that of Joshua (pronounced "Yoshua"), the son of Nun, Numbers 13:16. Joshua's name originally was Hoshea, or Hoshua, but Moses had prefixed the short or poetic form of the sacred Name, Yah, calling Him Yahoshua, meaning Salvation of Yah. From the Babylonian captivity onward, the "o" sound was dropped, according to linguistic authorities, and by the time of the Savior's birth the name was no longer "YahOshua," but became Yahshua. This custom of shortening names is commonplace. For example, "bedlam" comes from Bethlehem, Jon from Jonathan, and Liz or Beth from Elizabeth.
The Savior Yahshua indeed came in the name of His Father, for His very name means "the Salvation of YAH." His name contains the sacred, poetic, heavenly family name Yah: YAHshua. One has but to look at Acts 7:45 and Hebrews 4:8 in the King James Bible where the hybrid "Jesus" erroneously appears. It is obvious that scribes went through the King James Bible and everywhere changed the true name of Yahshua to Jesus. With overzealous intent, the name Joshua (Yahshua) the son of Nun had been mistakenly replaced with the hybrid "Jesus" as well! Later KJV revisions and newer Bible versions have replaced the more proper Joshua. Salvation comes through Yahshua the Messiah. Salvation is through Him alone. "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." None other name! That is the same name given by the angel Gabriel to the mother of Yahshua before He was born. Please note that your Bible specifically says there is no other Name! It does not say there no other "person," which might allow you to call Him by whatever name you wish. Yahshua is the only Name by which we have salvation. There is no other name than Yahshua, which literally means the salvation that Yahweh has sent.
In talking with the penitent Jews at Pentecost, Peter was inspired to give this special Name through which we are to receive salvation. He did not say to be baptized in the person of the Messiah. Peter gave us a very specific command to call on the personal name given by the Father, Acts 2:38, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you in the name of Yahshua Messiah for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." To be sure, the person of Yahshua is important. But the Name He was given by the angel came from On High and carries a very special meaning for the Savior, embodying the Name of Yah-weh the Father Himself. The Name Yah-shua acknowledges both the Father and the salvation that is in His Son Yahshua. His name means "the Salvation of Yah." Nothing like this can be gleaned from the man-made, erroneous name "Jesus," which developed from first the superstitious Jewish scribes, and then perpetuated through the ignorance of Christian scholars who were ridiculed by the Jews for their lack of linguistic knowledge of Hebrew. Paul reveals, "Yahweh also has exalted [Yahshua] and given Him a name which is above every name, that at the name of Yahshua every knee should bow..." (Phil. 23:9-10). The Name Yahweh gave to Mary by which His Son was to be called was Yahshua! This can be proved from margin notes in Matthew 1:21 and Luke 1:31 in most Bibles. The translators substituted and disguised the holy Name, giving us the erroneous hybrid Jesus. It simply is not His Name! Furthermore, Paul says that the entire family of Yahweh will be called by the precious name of "Yah," Eph. 3:15. Some of the prophets carried His name, such as IsaYah, ObadYah, ZephanYah, ZecharYah, and JeremYah.
The most contentious of arguments seems to be whether the name of our Savior is Yahshua (Yahushua/Yahoshua) or Yeshua. Some modern day scholars have sided with the name Yeshua, and some scholars from the early part of the 1900's believe the name is Yahshua or Yahoshua or something close to those spellings. Some modern day scholars have called the name Yahshua a "Made-Up" or contrived name based on their interpretation of Hebrew. One irony found while doing this study is that many of those who purport the usage of Yeshua (the H3442 version), don't realize that Strong's has its phonetic pronunciation as "yah-shoo-ah" which is what they argue against "Yahshua"(the pronunciation is identical, or very close, to H3442 "yah-shoo-ah"). Jesus, Yehoshua, Yahshua, Yahushua, Yahoshua, Iahushuah, Yahusha, Yahuahshua...the list could go on and on. Yes, each one of these names are used by various groups as the Messiah's name. But which of them are correct? Can we really know? I believe that when it comes to the truth of the Messiah's name we can most definitely know the truth. Evidence will be provided below that will leave no doubt as to what the Messiah's true name is. Jesus is by far the most widely used name for the Messiah of the New Testament. But there are several very simple and easy to find facts that exist that remove this name as a possibility for the true name of Messiah."I have come in the name of My Father, and you do not receive Me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive that one." - John 5:43 (LITV)
